What to know
Employers can use these training materials to share information with workers about H5N1 bird flu. Posters on PPE and what to do if you feel sick can be hung up in the workplace. The toolbox talk can be used to lead a discussion about preventing exposure.
What to do if you feel sick
This document can be printed as an 11"x17" poster and hung up in the workplace. It can also be printed as an 8"x11" handout for workers. This document is appropriate for low, medium, and high exposure settings.
PPE posters
Posters on wearing PPE, how to put on PPE, and how to remove PPE are available in five languages. Employers can print these as 11"x17" posters and post them in the workplace. Posters on putting on and removing PPE should be printed and hung in the area designated for that activity, so that instructions do not need to be memorized. You can also print all PPE posters in smaller sizes to hand out to workers.

Toolbox talk

The National Center for Farmworker Health has a flip chart H5N1 bird flu training for animal production workers.
